Large green Romaine, named for the ancient city of Jericho in Palestine’s West Bank. Upright leaves, late to bolt, stays sweet and crisp even in summer heat. Grew well in the heavy soils of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, and in the rocky soil of the Taconic Hills of New York .
